All Canadian orders are invoiced in Canadian Dollars, unless otherwise selected. Shopping from another country? You can select the currency you prefer. Refunds are issued according at the exchange rate on the day the refund is processed. Baby Charlotte does not benefit from daily currency conversion rate changes.

All prices listed on our website are in Canadian funds unless otherwise selected.

Payments made using credit cards from other countries will incur the usual exchange rate and fees that your own bank charges you for using the card out-of-country. Baby Charlotte does not benefit in any way from these exchange rates.

Payment Methods

Baby Charlotte is proud to accept payments via Debit (in-store), Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express, Baby Charlotte gift cards and cash.

Returns

If a refund needs to be issued for a return, and the return date is more than 3 months after the original purchase, we are unable to return the transaction to the customer's credit or debit card. This time-sensitivity is due to restrictions set up by most banks and credit card companies - not by us. Should this occur, we will issue a gift card, to be used at your convenience, at Baby Charlotte.

Baby Charlotte Gift Cards

Baby Charlotte gift cards can be used online and in our store. There is no expiration date or tax charged on gift card purchases.

Baby Charlotte is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards as, once purchased, these balances cannot be checked without the physical gift card.

You can always bring Baby Charlotte gift cards into our store, and we will be happy to check and see how much value is remaining on the cards for you.

Online Payment Methods

Baby Charlotte accepts Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Paypal and Shopify payments. All in-store transactions are processed using Moneris, a leading and secure banking terminal which processes credit and debit payment for Baby Charlotte.

Duty and Taxes

Baby Charlotte will charge the Ontario Tax Rate of 13% HST on non-exempt items, and 5% GST on exempt items for all Ontario billing addresses and in-store purchases, except for Native Status Exemptions. Orders with billing addresses outside of Ontario will be charged the appropriate tax rates for their home billing address.

PST exempt items include: diapers & covers, children's clothing up to size 16, children's footwear up to youth size 7, feminine hygiene pads & liners, swaddles & receiving blankets, bibs & burp cloths, sleep bags & buntings and books & audio books.

It is the responsibility of the customer, to report any additional taxes that may be required by your own province or state when purchasing from Baby Charlotte.

Duty, additional taxes levied upon import and shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
